Temporary traffic lights
Temporary traffic lights are traffic lights that are in position to control traffic whilst, (most commonly) road works or street works are being undertaken by, Walsall Council, statutory undertakers (such as Gas, Water and Electric ) or private contractors.
If for any reason the temporary traffic lights are not working, or you are experiencing long delays at the road works, please look for the courtesy board provided, this will have the name and phone number of the company undertaking the works. They should respond by sending an operative out to correct the problem.
To apply for a Temporary Traffic Light application please contact a member of the Traffic Management and Coordination Team on 01922 654646.
A Traffic Engineer can arrange a site meeting to discuss the proposed location of works and the preferred start and end dates for the works to take place.
