Moxley is well placed to contribute to the future of the boroughs prosperity given its well connected road links and significant areas of industrial employment land around Bull Lane and the Moxley Road/Black Country New Road junction.
This area has some of the boroughs most strategically located industrial development opportunities which the Council are currently actively promoting to potentially interested investors in collaberation with various land owners and other partner organisations.
Moxley is also home to the recently redeveloped Leekes furniture store (site of the former Coles of Bilston) recieving significant investment and raising the profile of this company who are expanding nationally. At the Moxley site they continue to employ local people and support the wider regeneration proposals for the Moxley area, noting the regeneration work carried out to date as an influencing decision maker to invest significantly into the store.
The Birmingham and Black Country Wildlife Trust are currently preparing a planning application for the development of a new Regional Headquarters on the site of Moorcroft Woods as this location offers them the complete package of connectivity for staff and visitors as well as specific on site environmental requirements as needed by the organisation provided within Moorcroft Woods.itself.

The council and Walsall Housing Group (WHG), on behalf of the Moxley Project Reference Group (PRG) commissioned consultants DTZ to produce a Regeneration Framework for Moxley to help co-ordinate the physical and environmental regeneration of the area for the next 10-15 years.
The PRG is a local community group made up of ward councillors and key community representatives who are helping to broaden the involvement of the wider community in the regeneration process.
