Renewal of the Electoral Register - The Annual Canvass
Each year we conduct the annual canvass by sending a Household Enquiry Form (HEF) to every residential property.in the Borough.
For properties where we hold an email address an email is sent out on our behalf with details about registering, this goes out about 2 weeks before we send the HEF.
Any properties that do not respond or where we do not have an email address will receive a HEF form. People need to respond to this form and this can be done very easily either online or by phone.
Any new entries on the form will get a further form to complete this is known as an Individual Registration Form (ITR) or they can go online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote you will need your national insurance number when you register.
