The MOVE truck is an innovative mobiile solution delivering many activities, projects and tailored sessions in a fun, interesting and exciting way for all age groups.
If you are looking to create an impact an event or school activity that we have the perfect solution.
The MOVE truck has been seen out and about at many local events, school citizenship days and fun day events.
Children, young people and their families have enjoyed fun activities and games on the MOVE truck, or used it as a centre for all kinds of performances and presentations.
This facility originally funded through the Big Lottery is available for hire to schools, community and voluntary organisations and public and private sector events inside and outside Walsal
The MOVE Project is a purpose built three in one truck which is Big Lottery Funded through the Walsall Play Strategy, 'Live for Play Play for Life'. It is totally unique in the UK having been specifically designed and build for Walsall residents.
One complete side has a traversing rope wall purely to encourage children and young people to get up and MOVE. There is a permanent basket ball net on the rear and a unique feature of the truck is the hydraulic stage which can be used for all kinds of performances in our parks and open spaces; it can also prove to be a useful tool to consult with our residents. The inside of the truck incorporates an information area, chill out and debating area, computer suite, Wii fit, music mixing decks and lots more. The truck can be used to host a variety of projects for all ages.
The project is managed by the Community Development team within Walsall Council and is available for hire to schools, community and voluntary organisations and the public and private sector in and outside of Walsall borough.
